Our story begins in the 1970s, when Claye Kaelberer laid the foundation for what would become a trusted, family-run Simmental operation in the rolling country around New Salem, North Dakota. From the start, Claye focused on building a herd rooted in strong genetics, sound structure, and performance you can count on. His dedication to doing things the right way—every day, in every detail—has shaped not only our cattle, but our reputation.

Today, that same commitment carries forward through his son, Conner. Raised in the business and driven by the same passion for quality, Conner continues to advance the herd with careful selection, responsible stewardship, and a forward-looking approach to breeding. Together, we’ve built a program known for dependable bulls, balanced traits, and the kind of consistency that only comes from decades of careful breeding.
